Panther Volleyball Week June 29 - July 3
NO PRACTICE Monday evening but instead we have a fun Lake Party planned from 5:00-8:00.
Please RSVP to ALHSVB@gmail.com by Saturday, June 27 (at the latest Sunday, June 28!!) to let us know how many in your family are planning to attend so we know how many hot dogs to buy. See previous post for more details. Not only is this a family get-together, play some sand volleyball but also a swim party. Come prepared to have fun in the water! No lifeguard on duty so please watch your children carefully.

Lake Bryan Picnic
All ALHSVB families are invited to join us for a picnic at Lake Bryan on Monday, June 29. This is an opportunity for our players and families to get to know one another as our season gets started. All players and their immediate family are encouraged to attend.
Date: Monday, June 29, 2015
Time: 5:00-8:00pm
Place: Lake Bryan ($5 per car entrance fee)
Food: ALHSVB will provide hot dogs and buns. Bruce Postma will grill the hot dogs at the park.
What to bring: Each family should plan to bring drinks for themselves and a finger food to share. (No utensils, cups, or ice will be available so please plan to bring what your family will need.)
Activities: Sand volleyball will be available.

Volleyball Practices/Expo
Panther Volleyball Week June 22-27
If you were unable to attend the parent meeting last week you get another chance on Monday evening starting at 5:00. If you attended last weeks meeting no need to return unless you just can't get enough of seeing our bright sun shiny faces! :)
We are looking for a few more volunteers to stand at the booth for a couple of hours and talk about volleyball at the Expo. If you have been thinking about volunteering at the Expo, now is the time. Please talk with Lee at practice on Monday evening and she will be glad to add your name to the list.

We will have a booth at the Homeschool Expo on June 26-27. We need volunteers who are willing to stand at the booth and talk to people about our program. If you have time to cover a shift, please contact a committee member and let us know when you are available.

Panther Volleyball Week of June 15-19
Dig out those volleyball shoes and socks, wash those knee pads and wraps and get ready to have fun!
First is a brief Meet and Greet with coaches in gym with parents and players then as the players warm-up and begin practice the parents will have a short meeting with the committee upstairs. This will be a short Howdy and welcome with a little information from each committee member about upcoming season.

Volleyball - One Week Away!
Here is our schedule for the month of June:
All practices in June will be held at A&M United Methodist Church. (For the safety of the children in daycare, the church has asked that players not enter the building before 5:00. Thanks!)
Monday, June 15:
Parent meeting (AMUMC gym) 5:00-5:30. Committee and coaches will be introduced. Committee will give an overview of the program and parents will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Practice for all players (ages 10-18) 5:30-8:30.
Wed., June 17:
Practice for all players 1:00-3:00.
Monday, June 22:

AMUMC graciously allows us to use their gym for free; however, there are some dates in July when their gym is reserved for church events. On those dates, our practices will be moved to the SOS Ministries gym in Bryan. We will let you know in advance when that will happen.
