Trinity has cancelled the JV game scheduled for Tuesday, September 1st. They still have us in the tournament and same scheduled tournament game times as previously posted. Please look for additional information regarding the tournament from coaches and team moms.

Howdy JH Black TEAM!!    This week is our turn to help at A&M United Methodist Church!   
Just AFTER practice on WED, AUG 12, we will go together to the church office, and they will show us how to arrange Bibles and hymnals,  and replace cards in the pew backs in the church.   Please meet at the doors to the gym just after practice (about 3:15 pm) and we'll go together to help.  
 
Cindy in the church office said it takes about 15 minutes (less if there is more of us!) so if you can stay and help, that would be GREAT!!
 
 If your Mom or Dad is there to pick you up, they are welcome to come along, too!   Please let the person who picks you up from practice know that you'll be done about 330p or shortly thereafter on WEDNESDAY this week!

Junior High (Purple Team) Parents,

Lisa LaFollete, purple team mom, is out of town and has asked me to step in and take the lead on a gesture of appreciation to the AMUMC for allowing us to use their facility for our practices. 

Directly after practice on Wednesday, we will walk over to the sanctuary and arrange hymnals, tithing envelopes, etc. for their midweek service. If we have a little more than a handful of volunteers, this should only take about 20 minutes. Of course, if we have more, it will take even less. ;) 

I will be at practice, so if you can find me directly after, we can walk over together and get everything taken care of very quickly.

Book Training

Book training for Monday, August 3, has been canceled since no one RSVP'd that they were coming.  If any high school parents want to learn to keep the books or would like a review, we can do it at one of the scrimmages on Friday, August 7.

Book training for Monday, August 10, 5:00-7:00 is still on.  This is during the junior high practice but high school parents are welcome to come as well.
